The Little Philosophies

Certain philosophies of life don't quite seem to fit where they need to be for some people. Having to go through the lowest of lows to get to a high; having to tread through the hardest of times for just a little while of bliss or relief, even. Will life only ever come full circle, following the pain and pleasure cycle? Some lessons, you learn them again and again and again. It's a new scenario, new people, the same lesson learnt, every time. It's like you lose yourself again after you replenish yourself after you've lost yourself a million times before. Where do the high spirits that you have hide when you need them? Can we really intentionally forget or push something we do not want under the blankets of our brain whenever we consider a piece of certain information to be irrelevant? Is that even possible? Wow, the human mind never ceases to surprise me with its road bumps.

I hope these pitstops of self-loathing and suffering lead us to self-discovery even though the repetition of the so-called discoveries renew with every waking morning. But with them come the tiny happy moments of realising the person you once used to be, You're still in there. You've just blanketed her deep inside in a place you see fit and safe, and when it's time, you will let her out. At your own pace.

You learn about yourself, you lose yourself, you re-learn yourself. Again and again and again and again.

Sunday musings.
